SMARTBoards & Primary Students:

Fine Motor Skills
- if students have problems with fine motor skills, have them try using a tennis ball when writing on the board
- a hand pointer from Learning Resources ($3.99) also works well
Board Height
- portable boards can be lowered to the correct height for students, adjustments are made on the back of the board stand
- mounted boards may require a "step" or "box" for students if they are mounted at traditional board height for teacher use--consider safety on steps and boxes.
